About this tool

Rotation problems usually come from scanners and phone cameras: a landscape table gets stored as a portrait page turned on its side, or a stack of sheets is fed in the wrong way. Rotating in the PDF itself means the file opens correctly for everyone, instead of every reader having to rotate the view by hand.

The rotation is stored as a page property, so nothing is re-rendered and no quality is lost. Rotation is applied relative to the page's current angle, which means you can nudge a page that is already partly rotated without doing the arithmetic yourself.
