Your documents

PDFzy tools run in your browser. When you select a file, it is read into your browser's memory and processed by code running on your device. Your documents, their contents and their file names are never transmitted to us and we never hold a copy.

Because processing is local, there is nothing for us to delete afterwards. Closing the tab discards everything.

Information we do receive

Loading any website involves a request to a server. Our hosting provider processes standard technical data to deliver the page and protect the service: IP address, browser and operating system, the page requested, and the time of the request. This data is used for security and reliability, not to build a profile of you.

Storage on your device

Some tools store small items locally so the site works better: your cookie choice, and cached recognition language files used by the OCR tools. These stay in your browser and are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Analytics and advertising

PDFzy does not run advertising. If privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics are enabled in future, they will only load after you accept in the cookie banner, and the cookie notice will be updated before that happens.

Children

The service is intended for general use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because we do not hold accounts or documents, such requests normally concern server logs only. Write to hello@pdfzy.online and we will respond within 30 days.

If this policy changes materially, the date below is updated and the change is described on this page.
