Terms of use

Using the service
PDFzy is provided free of charge for lawful personal and business use. You may use the tools on documents you own or are authorised to work with. You must not use the service to process material you have no right to handle, to attempt to defeat protection you are not entitled to remove, or to interfere with the site's operation.
No warranty
The tools are provided “as is”. Document processing in a browser depends on your device, your browser version and the structure of the file you supply. We do not guarantee that any conversion, compression or recognition result will be complete, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose.
Always keep your original file. Check the output before relying on it, especially for legal, financial or medical documents.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFzy is not liable for any loss of data, loss of profit, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Because processing happens on your device and we never receive your files, we cannot recover a document for you.
Intellectual property
You keep all rights in the documents you process. The PDFzy name, site design and written guides remain ours. The tools are built on open-source libraries used under their own licences.
Availability and changes
We may add, change or withdraw tools at any time, and the service may be unavailable during maintenance. If these terms change materially, the date below is updated.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under local law.
