Cookie notice
Last updated 12 January 2026
PDFzy sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Only two small items are stored on your device, both to make the site work properly.
| Item | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| pdfzy-consent | Local storage | Remembers your choice in the cookie banner so it is not shown again. | Until you clear your browser data |
| OCR language cache | Browser cache / IndexedDB | Stores the recognition language file so OCR does not download it every time. | Until you clear your browser data |
Declining is fine
If you decline in the banner, every tool still works exactly the same, because none of the tools depend on optional storage. We record the decline itself so we can stop asking.
Removing stored items
Clear site data for pdfzy.online in your browser settings, or use private browsing so nothing persists.
More detail is in the privacy policy.
