About this tool

Images go where PDFs cannot: into a slide, a social post, a chat message that will not preview an attachment, or a website. Converting to JPG renders each page exactly as it appears on screen, including scanned pages, drawings and embedded fonts.

Resolution is up to you. 96 DPI is fine for on-screen previews, 150 DPI suits most sharing, and 300 DPI is print quality with a correspondingly larger file. When a document has several pages, all the images are packaged into one ZIP so you have a single download.

What it's good for

  • Dropping a page of a report into a presentation.
  • Posting a flyer where only images are accepted.
  • Creating page previews for a website or listing.
  • Sending a page to someone whose device cannot open PDFs.

Features

  • Choose your DPI

From 60 DPI for previews up to 400 DPI for print.

  • Quality control

Balance sharpness against file size with the quality setting.

  • ZIP for many pages

Multi-page documents arrive as one archive.

  • Works with scans

Scanned and vector pages both render correctly.

Questions people ask

Which resolution should I choose?
150 DPI for general use, 300 DPI when the image will be printed.
Can I get one page only?
Extract that page first with Extract PDF Pages, then convert it.
Why is my ZIP large?
High DPI settings create large images. Lower the DPI or the quality percentage.
